Qualifications and experience: Registered psychotherapist. Full member of NZAP (New Zealand Association of Psychotherapists). AUT trained psychodynamic psychotherapist. Masters in Health Science and Diploma in Psychosocial Studies. Has experience with a broad range of clients and client issues. Has also worked in business and in education so has a broad range of life experiences,
Malcolm offers: Individual counselling and psychotherapy. A space to talk and explore your experience and concerns in a safe and private, confidential and non judging environment. Long or short term therapy.
Special Interests are: Working to promote positive change through overcoming negative life patterns. Including addressing anxiety and stress, depression, confidence and relationship issues. Grief and loss issues.
Approaches and Modalities: Relational psychodynamic psychotherapy, with the use of some Cognitive Behavioural techniques.
Location: Three Lamps, Ponsonby, corner of Ponsonby and Jervois roads. On Link bus route.
Costs: Normal fees are $90 per session. Discounts or WINZ subsidies may be available for lower income earners or beneficiaries. Contact me for further details.
